The Home Energy Survey

There are 2 ways to have a Home Energy Survey:

If you live in any of the following areas: Bishops Castle, Ludlow, Clun, Newtown & District, Montgomery & District, Knighton, Presteigne and Kington

A trained volunteer surveyor can visit your home and fill in a questionnare on your energy use and take pictures of heat loss from your home with our thermal imaging camera (allow 1-2 hours). Our expert energy officers will then produce a report on your home energy use with suggestions for reducing your energy use and projected annual savings as well as information on any relevent grants and renewable incentives and local suppliers.

This service is £50 for a typical 3 bedroomed home (£40 each if 3 houses in the neighbourhood book together). Please enquire for larger properties.

If you don't live in the areas above, you can download our DIY survey form, which we are happy to help you with over the phone if necessary (telephone 01588 630683). This can then be emailed to info@h-e-s.org or posted to our office. We will then send you an comprehensive report tailored to your home as above with suggestions for how to improve your energy eficiency; your projected annual savings as well as information on any relevent grants, renewable incentives and local suppliers.

Please note, there is no thermal imaging available with the DIY survey. This service is £35.
