MEET THE TEAM

Behind all the glitz and glamour of energy efficiency

Behind the growing numbers of households and volunteers

Behind the rapidly reducing carbon footprints and other sucess stories

are a little known group of poor, stressed, exhausted creatures known as staff ...

Local Coordinators

Montgomery is coordinated by the ever cheerful

Mike Membery. - mikem@h-e-s.org

Knighton and Presteigne will be seeking a new coordinator

shortly. Lots of thanks to Gary, who has now left

this post but not quite left HES.

Newtown is coordinated by the jaunty Terry Hegarty.

- terryh@h-e-s.org

Bishop’s Castle and Clun is coordinated by the sunny

Dave Thomlinson. - davet@h-e-s.org

Others

Dave Green is Energy Officer. Dave is currently developing training and consultancy stuff in HES, as well as being on the management team and of course giving energy advice. daveg@h-e-s.org

Rachel Francis is communications officer. She is the one to blame if you dont like the website. Rachel believes that LESS is MORE. She has a maths problem, but we wont talk about it.   - rachelf@h-e-s.org
Sue Salmon is the only one who smiles in group photos. She is also the administrator, the friendly voice on the phone and the one who knows what's going on. sues@h-e-s.org
Adam Kennerley is our Chief Executive. Adam is full of ideas and energy. He already has an immense track record and shows no sign of slowing down, so the future for HES promises to be exciting adamk@light-foot.org
Michael Whithouse joins in every so often as our carbon accountant to help us count the molecules (they are so fiddly!)

Dave Luckhurst is our other energy officer and the one responsible for pioneering the farm surveys. The ratio of staff named Dave compared to those not actually named Dave is currently 1 in 3
